Hello, my name is Danny Miller. I’m a 32 year old graphic designer based in Denver, Colorado.
I’m a bit of a late bloomer in the world of design. I discovered my love for it while taking an elective during my return to school, studying education. I found Photoshop fascinating. The following semester, I shifted my focus and enrolled in the Digital Media program at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Raised by a resourceful librarian mother, I learned early how to teach myself, and with the endless tools of the internet at my fingertips, I dove in deep. My school was great, but I'm a lifelong learner and get slightly obsessive. I began freelancing while still in school and have continued building my practice for the past four years.
My creative process lives at the intersection of physical and digital. I’m inspired by hands-on art just as much as I appreciate the efficiency and precision of digital tools. I’m drawn to designers of various mediums, such as Charley Harper, Thomas Church, Saul Bass, and Jacky Tsai — creatives who simplify boldly, use shape with confidence, and communicate with clarity.
Nature has shaped me just as much as design has. I'm fortunate to have visited most of our national and state parks. I grew up spending summers in the Teton Mountain Range in Wyoming, backpacking with my grandparents. I even climbed the Exum Ridge route up the Grand Teton when I was sixteen. Nature and adventure remain my reset, my inspiration, my church.
Outside the studio, I’m an extremely average mountain athlete — but an enthusiastic one. I love to hike, climb, bike, paddle, ski, fish, and camp whenever I can. I believe adventure fuels my creativity and gives me perspective.
I've been incredibly lucky in life. Most importantly, I’ve been with my fiancée for fifteen years. We’re an incredible team, and her support has been foundational to everything I build.
Design, like the outdoors, rewards patience, intention, and respect for the journey orprocess. That’s how I approach my work — thoughtfully, strategically, and with a deep appreciation for craft.
